An industry leader, Bimal has over 30 years of experience in the overall management of the printing, publishing, financial services technology industries.
He has a MBA from Boston University, School of Management, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
With over 25 years’ experience in printing and publishing, Sangeeta currently manages Vakils, Feffer & Simons (VFS), the publishing arm of the Vakils Group.
She is also the founder of Kahani Tree, an independent children’s store and library resource centre.
Sangeeta has a Graduate degree in Economics (Hons) from Mumbai University and a Diploma in Marketing Management from London City College.
Sujit has over 20 years of experience in Printing technology, sales, procurement and logistics.
He has a Diploma in Printing Technology from the Government Institute of Printing Technology (GIPT), Mumbai.
Arun Mehta, our Chairman, passed away in July 2022. Mr Mehta joined the company in 1954 and was appointed Managing Director on 1st January 1986. He played a role in the restructuring of Vakils in the 1990s and early 2000s. He was a great believer in new ideas and was instrumental in the company’s adaptation of the latest technologies.
Mr Mehta held several prominent positions throughout his lifetime. He was President of The Bombay Master Printers’ Association in 1972 and the All India Federation of Master Printers in 1982. He was also the Chairman of the Development Council for the Printing Industry in India from 1983 to 1987.
Mr Mehta leaves a remarkable legacy of over 60 years of contribution to the printing and publishing industries. He is greatly missed.
